"I honestly don’t know," the Terrakion replied, "I don’t sing very much - I mostly hum. And the times I do, no one’s really told me to stop, so I guess my voice is pleasent enough to listen to."
|I have hugged all of the pokemons!! Muahahaha! Except for one... (looks at Terra)|
"Don’t even think about it."
And that was all that needed to be said.
|Gwen: You know, I'm getting sick of the anti human sentiment. There are bad humans as there are good humans. There are bad pokemon, as there are good pokemon. It makes me annoyed when people always harp on: "O humans are the ultimate evil". Doesn't that get annoying?|
The legendary pokemon turned to the Gothorita as she spoke. He was laying down on his lookout post on Route 22 - where he had designated himself as Victory Road was repaired. He wasn’t not quite prepared to have the spiel thrown at him about humanity, but as she spoke, he couldn’t help but find it angering.
Still, he wasn’t going to take the full extent of his temper out on someone he just met - so instead, he merely narrowed his eyes at the pokemon, and spoke;
"I do not think humans are inheritably bad,” Terrakion replied, his voice echoing his annoyance to a degree, “however, I’ve seen humans commit atrocities that I have not yet seen Pokemon do out of their own will. Most of the time, Pokemon are acting under the orders of the humans that own or control them.”
“With that being said, however,” the legendary sighed, “I am also aware that, as you say, humans have done good. I am not so foolish as to think that all of humanity is evil.”
‘At least, not anymore,’ he thought to himself softly.
The muskedeer turned back to the Pokemon and huffed, “but regardless, there are reasons for everything in this world, either good or bad reasons. And I am sure there are Pokemon that have their reasons for feeling the way they do about humanity. You cannot change their mindset by mouthing off about how you’re sick of hearing it,” Terrakion pointed out, “if you want to change the minds of Pokemon, then you need to prove that they are wrong. Show them the goodness of humanity, or simply let them discover it themselves. After all, time is the greatest medicine for these things. I should know that… most of all.”

I was thinking about doing this when I got home, but after seeing the anon hate Rai got, I figured I’d drive the point home on this blog as well.
So please send me some asks you’d like to see answered. I’ll also send out some asks for those who want them (It’ll be a little slow though since this laptop isn’t the greatest, ahahaha )
The type of killing mentioned was killing in defense. It is killing to survive one way or another, be it to defend or to feast.
You are but another predator among the hunted. What makes you think I think anything more or less of your existence because of that fact, hm?
"I see!" Steven gave a nod, his mind for a moment wandering on the prospect of meeting this dragon clan himself if he ever returned to admire the cavern rather than just visit his new friend, which he figured he might as well. It was a nice place, after all.
Although he could always explore and visit.
Setting the thought aside, he refocused on the conversation as he witnessed Terrakion playfully headbutt his Metagross, who returned in kind with a noise of glee. Titanium then hovered off the ground and floated towards him, the rest of his team gathering around him as the Axew left and they noted that it seemed it was time to depart.
Malechite seemed rather dissapointed that they had to leave so soon.
With yet another nod at the Legendary’s suggestion, the man chuckled, then bowed his head slightly. “I’d be a pleasure to accept your invitation.” He said, smiling, as his eyes twinkled slightly. The man’s hands moved to where his Pokéballs were, prepared to return most of his team to their portable transport. His lips twitched a little at what the last thing Terrakion said could mean, although he never really considered adding him to his team permanently, he had at least considered offering to let him travel with him through the regions, at least. It’d be nice to have a companion on trips.
Although having Terrakion around as a teammate was an attractive prospect, he already got along pretty well with his Pokémon friends. “Hopefully indeed.” He said, lightheartedly, as he slowly returned the team to their Pokéballs except Titanium.
Chromium seemed the most surprised of all by Terrakion’s statement, it was apparent on his face, but he did not comment as he was returned to his ball. Neither did the rest of them, really, except Steven’s faithful Metagross.
It only gave Terrakion a knowing look and smile before it turned and began floating away.
"See you around… friend." With a wave, Steven Stone turned to leave in step with his steel type companion.
Terrakion only offered a soft chuckle and a smile at the response to his ‘invitation’, as it were. It was at this point that he was beginning to wordlessly trust the man’s promise to his words.
The legendary watched as each pokemon was returned to their balls, and when Chromium seemed surprised by his statement. Because he was getting recalled to his pokeball, the Earth Guardian could only offer him a look in response,
'You'll find out soon enough, police-mon.'
The look was shared to Titanium, who gave him a knowing look, though his own expression was more challenging than the one he gave to the aggron. As Steven left, Terrakion merely waited for him to go and his footsteps to leave Victory Road without moving an inch, as his scent soon disappeared into nothing.
Once he was gone, the legendary went to the top of Victory Road and walked out onto the platform at the top. His mind was clear, for once, instead of full of so many what if’s and questions whenever he was near the human.
If anything, he was… happy, after the encounter.
He sat down on the edge and flopped his legs over the side. The Legendary could see Steven leaving Victory road with Titanium. He watched them go for a while as he sat, and for a while, he decided to think deeply about the man who kept visiting him… the man he had slowly but surely… began to trust.
"Ch," he eventually said with some amusement in his tone, "You’d better be ready… when spring comes, Steven Stone."
"You can bet I will be."
As life began, the Pokemon that emerged when the Earth was new took shapes according to their environment. Whether it be the land, the sky, the sea or beyond that, each species developed and changed to match their homes.
Most elements are easy to guess. Fire for hot locations, ice for cold ones. But you have the special elements that came from mixing the core ones - dragon, psychic and fairy are to name a few.
And then of course, there are those Pokemon that don’t take on any characteristics of the core elements, and simply remain classified as Normal.
Then… there are Pokemon like yourself that take on odd elements for your species, but that’s just another form of evolution and adaption. Though…
Delta species… have their origins too…
